Value Streams

In 2007, Aerofil was divided into three Value Streams, each with its own dedicated team focused on each customers individual needs and requirements.

A Value Stream (VS) is an end-to-end LEAN business process which focuses and delivers a specific group of products or service to a customer or consumer in the least waste way. Embedded within each VS is a dedicated team of professional's that include the Value Stream Leader whose staff includes a Buyer, Planner, CSR, Spec Control Analyst, Technical Support, Lean Facilitator and QC leader who have direct and bottom line ownership in driving supply chain wide improvements for its specific customers and their dedicated SKU's. By eliminating the silos of the traditional manufacturing model, a much more immediate and dramatic improvement in regards to customer communication and feedback, fill rates and quality are often realized.
